Job Description

A a well-established, progressive veterinary practice in Southampton is looking to expand with a Veterinary Surgeon who has a keen interest in ophthalmology, or holds a Certificate in Ophthalmology. If you’re passionate about advancing your skills in this specialty, we’d love to hear from you!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert veterinary care to small animal patients, including consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.

  • Perform ophthalmic examinations, diagnostic tests, and surgeries, if certified or experienced in the field.

  • Educate clients on ophthalmic care and treatment options for their pets.

  • Work closely with a supportive team of veterinary surgeons and nurses to provide the highest standards of care.

  • Participate in out-of-hours and emergency services as required (optional).
