FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Engineer based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with a 9-day fortnight working pattern.
Main duties include:
- Provide quotations to customers for rental, sale and maintenance of software and hardware products.
- Review of purchase orders and preparation of job paperwork.
- Provide technical documentation and advice to customers.
- Administration of daily rental charges and documentation of contract variations.
- Review and record customer end use declarations.
- Identify product upgrade targets. Plan and execute customer engagement.
- Planning and administration of Support and Maintenance Agreements.
- Co-operate with product support tram to identify regional rental equipment shortages.
- Assist with preparation of technical sales presentation and marketing material, as required.
- Follow up opportunities and update ERP records.
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Degree in a technical discipline (eg Engineering, Science, Computing, etc)
- Previous experience in Sales focused roles
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
- IT literate with familiarity with CRM or ERP systems
- Motivated and organised, with a strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines
- Familiarity with subsea inspection, survey or ROV operations would be beneficial, but not essential
Candidates must be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
