Job Description

This is position is part of an ambitious build-out of the Banks securities finance business. The firm has successfully developed its repo offering over the past years, generating meaningful revenues and now looking to expand client coverage across Hedge Funds, Asset Managers.

This hire will play a critical role in origination, client onboarding and revenue generation, with strong connectivity to both the trading desk and the broader fixed income platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and deepen client relationships across the buy-side, particularly Hedge Funds and Asset Managers.
  • Execute repo and reverse repo trades (GC, specials, sub-IG), working closely with trading.
  • Lead on client onboarding – pushing GMRA/ISDA documentation and internal credit approvals.
  • Contribute to commercial strategy and platform development alongside senior management.
  • Play a hands-on role in shaping a high-growth desk with material runway.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in repo sales or securities finance.
  • Deep knowledge of repo products including bilateral, tri-party, and SBL.
  • Strong buy-side client network (HF / AM) with execution capability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a high-growth, still-developing platform.
  • Ability to work across functions and build long-term commercial partnerships
  • Bachelor or above degree in Finance or related fields
  • Be located in London or willing to relocate.
