Lead and manage capital and improvement projects across the manufacturing site, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget

Oversee the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain) to ensure successful project execution

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and recommend cost-effective solutions to optimise plant efficiency

Manage contractor relationships, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management, ensuring key milestones are met

Ensure that all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency

Proven experience in project engineering management, ideally within the FMCG or manufacturing sector

Strong knowledge of capital project management, including equipment installation, process improvement, and budgeting

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external contractors

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive project success

A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or equivalent relevant experience

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage
