Job Description

Class 1 Driver

Location: Queenslie
Shift: Days, Monday – Friday

About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

  • Trunk from the depot in Queenslie to Aberdeen depot and reload back to Queenslie.
  • Use a curtain sided trailer to make multi-drop collections and deliveries within the Pallet Network.
  • Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
  • Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
  • Plan route on a day to day basis.
  • Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
  • Attend regular training sessions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
