A full time, permanent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Engineer to join a small, busy team to effectively deliver a wide range of engineering projects to achieve approved programmes of work and meet target levels of service delivery.

\\n

You will bring with you experience of technical design work in Drainage, Highways & Infrastructure schemes and utilising design software including AutoCAD and Microdrainage (XP). You will be involved in the preparation of technical reports including contract documents, tender analysis and cost estimates.

\\n

A comprehensive knowledge of construction related health and safety legislation and issues and the ability to apply safe systems of work to projects is essential. You will be educated to a minimum of HNC level in Civil Engineering, have graduate membership of an appropriate professional institution and a full driving licence.

\\n

Previous experience of Project Management and Civil Engineering works from conception, feasibility and detailed design through to construction is required along with experience of working under CDM Regulations and construction related health and safety issues.
