We have an opportunity for a Senior Director to join our business and lead the corporate accounting, reporting, and control functions across the EMEA region, based in London.
This individual has responsibility for strategically leading the UK’s controllership team, with overall responsibility to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated reporting under US GAAP to CBRE Group, Inc., including regulatory and statutory reporting under local GAAP.
The successful candidate will be a qualified US CPA, with a Big4 audit background ideally previously in a U.S.-based Investment Management / Asset Management leading a Controllership team.
Qualifications:
- Chartered accountant with controlling experience, including in a managerial position leading a team;
- Experience of U.S. public company internal control and reporting requirements;
- Strong technical experience in U.S. GAAP, including experience in the application of ASC 323, ASC 606, ASC 825 (specifically, the fair value option), and ASC 946;
- Experience with SOX compliance, processes and control environments.
