This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile bank’s Operational & Resilience Risk team in a brand new role focusing on the Capital Risk.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and overseeing the capital risk framework, ensuring robust risk governance, and aligning capital management with regulatory standards and internal risk appetite. This position involves close collaboration with finance, treasury, risk management, and other key departments to support informed decision-making and safeguard the bank\’s financial stability.
Responsibilities Include Capital Risk Framework Development, Capital Risk Policy and Procedure Management, Regulatory Compliance and Adaptation, and Capital Adequacy Assessment / Stress Testing
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
You will be a subject matter expert in Capital Risk Management including ICAAP, Basel III and Dodd-Frank and be interested in applying these skills in a 1.5/2nd line risk oversight environment, having the credibility to challenge the first line as and when required. You should also be able to influence at all levels with a direct and pragmatic style.
