Chief Technology Officer (CTO) | FinTech SaaS | Remote or London Hybrid | £120,000–£150,000 + Equity
Company Overview:
We are partnered with an early-stage FinTech SaaS startup leveraging AI and data analytics to power smarter financial decisions. The platform transforms raw financial data into predictive insights for institutions, wealth managers, and private equity firms, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
Role:
They\’re seeking a hands-on CTO to lead the technical direction and product architecture from the ground up. This is a founding-level role offering full ownership of the tech stack, hiring strategy, and long-term scalability. You’ll work directly with the CEO and founding team to build a category-defining SaaS product in the financial intelligence space.
Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap
• Architect and build the core platform, including data pipelines, APIs, and ML infrastructure
• Lead and scale a high-performing engineering and data science team
• Implement best practices for security, DevOps, and compliance
• Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Represent technology to investors, partners, and enterprise clients
Qualifications:
• Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS products, ideally in FinTech, AI, or data platforms
• Strong technical skills across cloud infrastructure, backend architecture, and data analytics
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, modern data stacks, and ML workflows
• Experience with financial data, analytics dashboards, or regulatory tech is a plus
