An exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to become an assistant herd manager, to the owner, on a modern and progressive high input dairy farm based in North Cornwall.
The herd consists of over a thousand head of stock with around 800 milking. The individual should be a cow enthusiast who will have experience in AI, foot trimming and, most importantly, herd health and welfare. With outstanding attention to detail and modern approach attitude, this really is an amazing opportunity for the right individual.
You will have a proven track record of elite stockmanship and be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills, a passion for the dairy cow, and a drive to achieve agreed targets. A fabulous package to include a secluded three-bedroom cottage on farm awaits the successful candidate that will reflect the importance of this position.
