HGV Class 2 Driver / Operative – Paisley
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Industrial Services division based at our Paisley site. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is ideal for those looking for more than a ‘standard’ driving job as you will be doing a lot more than sitting behind the wheel. The role will require you to get involved in the operational work on site as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and performing collections on rigid tankers.
- You will be the face of the business, interacting with customers on a daily basis.
- You are responsible for your load being safe, secure and accurately described, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
- Must be able to work on your own initiative & as part of a team.
- Willing to work flexibly, either day runs and/or night out runs with flexibility of working away overnights and weekend working.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Have valid HGV class 2 licence as a minimum.
- Some years driving experience.
- Have a valid digital tachograph card and have completed all CPC requirements.
- Experience with tankers / Jet/vac units is desirable.
