Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an Erasure Technician in East Kilbride on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Schedule: 7:45am to 3:45pm
Pay rates: £12.21 per hour
With particular emphasis on data security, the successful Erasure Technician will ensure the erasure/destruction of data-bearing assets.
As an Erasure Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Confidently identifying key components of a system/laptop such as HDDs/SSDs, RAM, and CPUs
- Erasing data in line with customer requirements and company policies
- Navigating a windows-based workstation to use the client database, access emails, and carry out various miscellaneous tasks
- Meeting hourly and daily targets and managing your workload effectively to achieve this
- Maximising productivity; multitasking while maintaining concentration and accuracy
The ideal Erasure Technician will be:
- Technical minded and computer literate
- Able to pay excellent attention to detail, and maintain excellent accuracy when dealing with numbers
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
