Thank you for your interest in working with Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We are looking for a Line Pilot to join our highly-skilled team, taking the helm of one of our Airbus H145 D3 helicopters.
Do you want to feel as though you are helping to save lives every day? When working for YAA as a Line Pilot that is exactly what you will be doing!
Unlike most other air ambulances in the UK, we directly employ pilots to fly the helicopters under our own Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).
The successful candidate will be based from RAF Topcliffe, near Thirsk, with infrequent duties from Nostell ASU, Foulby, near Wakefield and will work a fixed roster, with a 1 in 6 relief week. The roster is programmed up to 12 months in advance. Flexibility is required for Sim Training Periods, crew sickness, etc. Duty time will never be more than as permitted under the approved FTL scheme.
