Your new company, our client, specialises in the management of discontinued insurance and reinsurance portfolios. Formed in 2020, the managing agency has assumed responsibility for a number of run-off insurance portfolios.
Your new role
As a Claims Handler in the PI/FI team, you will ensure claims are handled to high standards and in line with Lloyd’s Principles, internal Claims Handling Guidelines and Compliance. This role offers hybrid working – you will be expected to attend the London office a minimum of 40% of the time, or more should business requirements dictate.
Ensure significant developments and/or new complex claims with the potential in the company in USD, 1m+ and/or financial movements of USD 500k+ get reported to the Claims Manager as soon as practicable for inclusion in the weekly report to Senior Management. Ensure appropriate collaboration with the Claims Operations Team to enable us to meet and exceed KPI’s.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have relevant experience within the Professional Indemnity claims handling/ adjusting with the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-changing environments quickly.
You will need a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills when dealing with clients and TPA’s.
