Your new role
Job Summary:
My client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Officer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in continuous improvement and process enhancement, supporting the delivery of portfolio projects and workstreams. You will manage project risks and issues, maintain stakeholder communications, and keep action logs up to date. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships while working in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of portfolio projects and workstreams focused on continuous improvement and process enhancement.

Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and mitigation.

Maintain effective stakeholder communications, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged.

Keep detailed action logs and ensure follow-up on outstanding items.

Provide support to three Project Managers, assisting with project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management or a related field.

Strong understanding of continuous improvement and process improvement methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work effectively in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
