Job Description
Trinity College, the largest of the Colleges at Cambridge University, is home to approximately 700 undergraduates, 350 postgraduates, and 180 Fellows. Following the progression of the current post holder to a new role, the College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Services Manager to join its Catering Department.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and a desire to consistently exceed expectations. You will take full ownership of all front-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and professional operations across all services. Working closely with the senior management team and front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Colleges reputation for excellence.
This is a varied and demanding role, offering a diverse range of services, from intimate fine dining and canapé receptions to large events, parties, buffets, and the daily student cafeteria. You will oversee the management and development of front-of-house staff, ensuring they receive the necessary training to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead all front-of-house services, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee staff training and development to maintain high standards.
- Management and delivery of HACCP, Food Safety, Allergen Control and Health & Safety in the front of house department.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to enhance services and processes.

This is a permanent full-time role (typically 37.5 hours per week on a shift rota) with a salary of £55,000 to £59,000 per annum, (dependant upon experience) plus a generous benefits package which includes:
