School Caretaker - Nottingham

Your new role

Hays Education are working with a school based in South Nottinghamshire who are looking for a Caretaker. The position will be from Monday to Friday, and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General grounds and building maintenance

• Minor repair work e.g. changing light bulbs

• Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working

• Responsibility of building keys – locking and unlocking as required

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally is a school

• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

• Be reliable, resilient and hardworking
