As a store leader working in a dynamic environment, you’ll set an example and lead from the front on shift. A typical day could include: Executing store operations through your team, on scheduled shifts and your days off, ensuring coverage for opening, closing, and weekends Analyzing data and store observations to inform decisions that improve customer experience and store performance Using forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labor within budgets and recruiting diverse, talented partners that meet store needs Cascading and implementing new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results Supporting partner growth through performance management, coaching, and relationship building to understand their challenges, needs, and aspirations Setting challenging yet realistic goals to boost engagement and partner performance Given the nature of our stores, working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. All retail store partners start their careers with an introductory training program led by our in-store trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in Starbucks culture and set you up for success. These programs are delivered in-store and support on-the-job learning with your manager.
