Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer in the West Midlands which are looking to recruit a QA officer to join the team. The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing within a quality team.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Quality: Ensure finished products meet defined quality standards through routine checks, sampling, and testing.
- Quality & Food Safety: Implement and maintain food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRCGS), ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, supporting corrective actions where required.
- Client Visits: Represent the company during customer visits, demonstrating robust quality systems and addressing concerns.
- Calibration: Manage and maintain calibration of equipment to ensure accurate measurements in line with standards.
