Job Description
A skilled and practical individual is needed to join the team at a leading hot tub company based in Poppleton, York, on a full-time basis.
This company has over 12 years of experience importing, selling, and servicing a range of high-quality hot tubs. They pride themselves on combining product expertise with outstanding customer service to build trust and deliver the best for their customers.
This is a varied and physical role, offering the chance to be part of a small, friendly team while working in a dynamic and hands-on environment.
About the Role
- As a Hot Tub Installer, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering and installing hot tubs and related products both locally and nationwide.
- Servicing and maintaining hot tubs for local customers.
- Performing service and repair work in their York workshop.
- Setting up exhibition stands at consumer events across the UK.
- Advising customers on water care and product maintenance.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely driving vans up to 3.5 tons for deliveries.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting (desirable but not essential).
- Providing excellent customer service and advice to customers.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Practical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and physical fitness.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
- Experience in repairs and fault finding.
- Customer service or sales experience.
- Forklift licence.
Hours, Pay & Benefits
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts).
- Occasional overnight stays required for long-distance deliveries.
- Starting salary of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
