Job Description

Sales Manager Full service hotel that is prominent with weddings, events and dinners along with golf and leisure.

Established hotel with strong local reputation. Great people and culture. Upto £32,000 plus benefits.

The Role:

Lead and oversee the smooth and efficient running of the sales office and its team (weddings, conference , events and marketing), ensuring a professional and efficient service for both new and existing clients.

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve objectives set out in a local activity sales plan.

Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth. Be aware of competitor activity to identify leads.

Responsible for driving sales revenue for the hotel from all market segments with a key focus on MICE, Corporate , leisure including golf and spa.

Responsible for the conversion of the hotels new business across all market segments and heavily assisting in converting enquiries to achieve annual budget.

Seeking and responding to RFPs and completion of annual contracting of corporate and group accounts.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data driven adjustments as necessary.

Hosting clients, attending network events, Industry events and corporate travel to build relationships and new business.

Experience:

Have several years of hotel sector experience.

Have a strong knowledge of the local economy and current business trends.

Proven experience in sales leadership with excellent problem solving skills.

Hands on approach and lead by example work ethic.

Holds a positive attitude and commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Be committed , self motivated with an excellent attention to detail.
