Job Description
There’s an unspoken part of a job search that can often determine the success of a process.
\\n
\\nTiming.
\\n
\\nYou can walk into a role someone else has loved recently and find limited challenge or excitement other than the novelty of it being new to you. On the flip side, you could be faced with a startup situation where even the job spec could change every week, but it could flourish and grow into the most beautiful success story.
\\n
\\nIf you are someone who wants to be challenged, then a brand-new environment could be a match – some would say the perfect scenario.
\\n
\\nThe right job, at the right time.
\\n
\\nIf you are an experienced Office Manager who wants to shake off the shackles of a corporate environment and deploy your skills, experience and energy into a fast-paced, non-stop, creative powerhouse that happens to be a start-up then this may be of interest.
\\n\\n
\\n\\n
Think of multiple business interests (fashion/music/investment), an extremely well-known person as the creative lead, and a whole team of successful people to work alongside.
\\n
\\nThis is a role you will own from the outset.
\\n
\\nHelped create the office from the ground up, managing all vendors/suppliers, managing team-building activities, events, and camaraderie.
\\n
\\nYou’ll also own a lot of overflow work from two of the best Executive Assistants I’ve ever worked with, so you’ll be able to grow, expand and critically learn.
\\n
\\nThis is a new(ish) role which we can discuss at interview, but you will have a lot of autonomy and freedom to put your stamp on things; and if you can help make things better for everyone then you’ll have the full support from everyone.
\\n
\\nBut we think this is just the starting point; the business is expanding, it’s getting faster, things are moving at break-neck speed and critical to your success will be your ability to adapt, say yes to things, fix unexpected problems and add value all-round.
\\n\\n
\\n\\n
To be considered, you will need experience running an office, and if you have European languages (Spanish/Italian), then please make sure that’s on your CV!
\\n
\\nGiven this is an Office Manager role, you'll be based in the office five days per week (with some flexible potential in the medium – long term)
