The Loughborough College are seeking an English Lecturer, to teach GCSE and Functional Skills to a wide range of Learners in the English Department.

The area is highly successful team with over 600 full time learners. The team offers a wide range of provision from Functional Skills to GCSE English. We are looking for someone who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons. You will ensure all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through implementing appropriate assessments and providing high quality feedback.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage learners through the use of varied high-quality teaching and learning strategies. You will be required to teach GCSE English and potentially some Functional Skills to our learners and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching English.

A relevant degree or equivalent is essential and applicants must already possess a teaching qualification or be working towards one. You must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
