Procurement & Supply Chain Manager – Strategic Leadership Opportunity

Are you an experienced Procurement or Supply Chain leader with a track record of driving strategic supply chain transformation in large, complex organisations?

Do you thrive in environments where you can influence supplier management, mitigate risk, and shape procurement strategies at an enterprise level?

We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join a forward thinking organisation operating in a high value, mission critical sector.

This role is ideal for someone who has successfully navigated the challenges of matrix organisations and global supply chains, implementing robust supplier risk assurance, supplier data management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead supplier management frameworks to ensure resilience, risk mitigation, and performance optimization.
  • Drive the adoption of best in class procurement processes, aligning supply chain strategies with broader business goals.
  • Spearhead sustainability and supply chain assurance initiatives, integrating ESG factors into procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to embed Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) best practices.
  • Support procurement transformation, ensuring a seamless, scalable, and future-proofed supply chain.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a large-scale, matrix organisation, ideally in utilities, defense, aerospace, logistics, or construction.
  • Expertise in supplier assurance, risk management, and strategic procurement.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience leading complex supplier negotiations.
  • The ability to drive change and influence at a senior level.
  • MCIPS or equivalent qualification (preferred).

📍 Location: Fully Remote – UK-based – Office meetings around once a month
