SSP Southern Spring & Pressings CNC Spring Technician JOB SUMMARY We are an established Spring Manufacturer, seeking a dedicated and skilled Spring Technician to join our team in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in manufacturing, and will help with the smooth running of our production facility. They must also work to a high level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail and be able to complete the job right first time. Training will be provided to the right candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacture of compression, extension, torsion and wire forms using CNC machinery Rigorous inspection of finished products to meet quality control standards. Assisting with general production, grinding, looping and heat treatment JOB REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is required Must be practical and have experience setting and operating machines Should be reliable and organised with the ability to work to deadlines Basic maths and writing skills, and good attention to detail are required Previous experience in Spring manufacturing is advantageous Problem-solving Ability to identify issues and implement solutions effectively.
