Job Description

Operational Due Diligence – Associate

We are working with a global multi-family office and wealth management firm with over £20bn in AUM that is hiring an Operational Due Diligence Associate.

You will be working in the investment research team and play a key role in conducting end-to-end operational due diligence (ODD) on investment funds and managers across various asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and cryptocurrency. You'll also contribute to enhancing the risk management and oversight capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting ODD reviews of investment funds & managers
  • Analysing fund documents, policies, financials & internal controls
  • Preparing reports for the Fund Selection & Investment Committees
  • Staying up to date with industry & regulatory changes
  • Assisting with security database oversight, trading queries & negotiations
  • Collaborating on internal projects & potentially traveling for manager visits

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in investment management, ODD, or risk management
  • Strong analytical, communication & critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Relevant qualifications or progress toward one (CFA, CAIA, ACA, IMC) is a plus
