Graduate Geo-Environmental EngineerOur OpportunityWe have a great opportunity for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to kick start their career and join our established Environmental department in Midlands. The team provides technical services to clients across an array of sectors, in the management of contaminated land and geotechnical projects.Joining as a Graduate, you will receive on hand guidance and support from the team, allowing you to develop your career within either Geo-Environmental or Geotechnical, along with support towards chartership and other professional environmental qualifications.Day to Day responsibilities will include: Regularly attending site Undertaking site walkovers Site investigations and monitoring, whilst being given the opportunity to develop your technical skills with regards to contaminated land and geotechnical reporting.  Our opportunity is aimed at an individual who has an interest and passion for the geo-environmental sector, including site investigation, contaminated land and geotechnics. Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard – Pick EverardAbout YouIf you will be Graduating as a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer this year, and have a drive to work within the built environment, as part of a team orientated department, then we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will have gained some exposure to working within the industry, however this is not essential.In order to be considered for this role, you must:  Have a degree in Geology, Civil or Environmental Engineering Have an interest in Site Investigations contaminated land, geotechnical engineering and the built environment Have a willingness to work around the UK on a variety of projects including periods away from home Have a valid Driving Licence In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you: To have knowledge of contaminated land assessment  Have an understanding of GIS  Have a willingness to learn and take on other environmental disciplines as requiredAbout UsOur nationwide multidisciplinary team of 650+ work collaboratively to deliver outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for local communities.
