Job Description
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES \\n\\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an ARB-registered Technical Architect to join our busy flagship studio in London and to develop your career in a well-structured, supportive environment. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious, individual who has completed their Part III. You will enjoy working as part of a team and excellent communication skills are essential.\\n\\n* Work with the Project Lead to evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues\\n\\n* Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures\\n\\n* Identify the surveys (e.g.
land surveys) required before work can commence, ensuring they're undertaken, and results are fed into the project\\n\\n* Under guidance from the Project Lead, prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and/or REVIT, as well as traditional drawing methods\\n\\n Advise clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking Produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used\\n\\n* Carry out design-stage risk assessments\\n\\n* Appraise the performance of buildings which are in use and produce maintenance management information\\n\\n* Evaluate and advise on refurbishment, re-use, recycling and deconstruction\\n\\n* Architect with post-Part III experience and proven technical design capabilities\\n\\n* Commitment to developing high quality design information with excellent attention to detail\\n\\n* Ability to present and communicate design ideas and concepts\\n\\n* Good working knowledge of Adobe packages, Revit (an advantage) and Photoshop\\n\\n* Technical experience working in a cross section of sectors preferred\\n\\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES \\n\\n* Keen and enthusiastic individual with a passion for creative design\\n\\n* Enjoy working as part of a team in a collaborative and supportive environment\\n\\n* Ability to work across multiple projects and effectively manage your time\\n\\n* A creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for design and ability to work well as part of a team and thrive in a diverse and exciting studio environment\\n\\n* A keen interest in, and knowledge of, sustainable design would be an advantage\\n\\n* Good working knowledge of Revit and Adobe packages including knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp etc.\\n\\n* An ambition to take on responsibility and rapidly grow within the team and practice\\n\\nIf this position is of interest then please give me a call on (phone number removed) and ask for \\n\\ng2 Recruitment are committed to equality of opportunity for all applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships or any other characteristic protected by law
