Job Description
An opportunity to join a fantastic family office based in London on an initial fixed-term contract. This role will head up operations, shadowing the COO, and running the day-to-day ops whilst assessing and maintaining the ops infrastructure. There is potential for the contract to go perm at the end of the 12 months, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
The role will span:
- Margin account management
- Hedge fund operations
- NAV reconciliation
- Risk management
- Reporting & compliance
- Clearing & exchange analysis
Asset classes covered are mainly futures, options, and FX.
The family is keen to identify a senior hedge fund operations professional (existing ops manager or head of ops level) with prior experience in the above duties. The role requires a hands-on approach to dealing with BAU, whilst working closely with the CIO and broader team members.
This is a fantastically run business and the emphasis is really on ‘family’. The team is lean, and so they are keen to hire the right personality fit alongside the technical experience. Compensation will be based on experience and suitability; however, they are happy to pay a very competitive base salary with a bonus component too. The role will be based at their west end offices Tuesday – Thursday, with 2 days WFH.
