HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers Wanted – Join William Thompson & Son (Dumbarton) Ltd!
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for a new opportunity with a well-established and reputable family run company? William Thompson & Son (Dumbarton) Ltd is currently seeking skilled and reliable drivers to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
· Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
· Delivering aggregates and collecting inert material from various customer sites.
· Ensuring compliance with all driving legislation and highway regulations.
· Accurately completing and submitting paperwork.
· Representing the company with a professional and customer-friendly attitude.
· Refuelling vehicles and maintaining them to a high standard.
· Securing loads and unloading safely according to risk assessments and safety procedures.
· Wearing appropriate PPE and always adhering to health and safety policies.
· Reporting any vehicle issues, incidents, or accidents immediately.
· The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
Expected Hours:
Monday – Friday with every second Saturday morning.

- HGV Class 2 Licence – Essential for this role.
- Tipper Experience – Preferred but not essential. Training provided for the right candidate.
