Job Description
At Quest Global we are looking for Continuous Improvement Engineer(s) to join one of our Aerospace and Defense customer project team based in Wolverhampton, UK.
Note:
100% Onsite job
This Role is Outside IR35
12 months Contract

Roles & Responsibilities
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities to remove waste and improve efficiency
- Identify and implement projects to reduce Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR)
- Support Zero Defect Initiative implementation (internal and supply chain)
- Champion the use of process robustness and Industrialization tools
- Kaizen Events
- Process Flow & Control Plan
- MPR (Manufacturing Process Review)
- TMS (Time-Motion Study)
- Carry out any other duties as required to support general operations of the Operations Department
- Advocate an inclusive team environment with a Can Do attitude
- Highly-motivated, flexible, responsive to change, and calm under pressure
- Ability to motivate, gain commitments and hold stakeholders accountable
- Ability to manage effectively in a high pressure environment
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to prepare and de technical information to Senior Leadership
- Hands on approach to daily tasks, ability to lead from the front promoting best engineering practices.
Required Skills
- +5 years Industrial Engineering experience in Aerospace/Automotive Industry
- Current Manufacturing/Industrialization Shop Floor Engineering experience
- Hands-on execution of projects/work packages
- Siemens NX
- Support resources for project based on technical competencies
- Compliance to QMS
- Technical Competency
- Conduct Technical Reviews/ Conduct Quality reviews, Log defects, monitor Measurement and Analysis related activities including, RCA's, & identifying the improvement actions
- Updating / Customization of technical checklists, evidence for audits and compliance checks.
- Technical presentations
- Able to obtain security clearance
