Our client, one of the largest banks in Asia, who provides specialist investment and corporate banking services to an international client base, are now looking for a junior/mid-level finance lawyer, for an initial period of 6-months, to join their established and highly regarded Corporate Banking London legal team.
The work in this team is broad in scope, so ideally, we are looking for ‘finance generalists’ who will have likely amassed some general transactional banking experience, and knowledge of the LMA suite of documentation. Experience in asset finance (encompassing aviation/shipping finance), trade finance and/or real estate finance would also be welcome.
More specifically, the successful candidate will:
- Review, draft and negotiate new and existing banking and finance documentation (including syndicated and bilateral loan documentation);
- Draft and negotiate ancillary commercial contracts associated with the business’ deal flow;
- Field queries from the finance business teams and work with senior management to advise them on best commercial procedures;
- Assist with firm-wide projects as and when required.
