Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a Night Shift Hygiene Manager for a prestigious client based in Wimbledon.
Job Purpose:
To effectively manage the Hygiene Team ensuring that hygiene standards in the factory are maintained and developed to the required high standard. Lead and drive standards of Hygiene, Health and Safety and Technical requirements to ensure that the business and customer standards are kept, and audit requirements are fully met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and recruitment of Hygiene Team; currently 5 team members to be working night shifts.
- Manage working patterns and rotas to maintain sufficient Hygiene resource across all departments and shifts, ensuring cover for holidays and absences.
- Drive and implement improvement in factory and office hygiene standards and Hygiene Team performance, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop the hygiene improvement plan and strategy for the next 12 months.
- Lead and mentor the Hygiene team, driving performance and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
- Own Hygiene Team training and development, including H&S, food safety and cleaning procedures.
- Regularly review of cleaning schedules to ensure they are kept up to date and sufficient for maintaining standard.
- Ensure all hygiene related records are completed and up to date.
- Support in maintaining and updating training matrix for hygiene team members.
- Support Technical Department in microbiological-related investigations.
- Carry out audits and swabbing as required to verify effectiveness of cleaning activities.
- Support Technical Department in preparing cleaning cards, cleaning schedules and strip off procedures.
- Involvement in site preparation for BRCGS audit and customer audits.
- Manage hygiene equipment, consumables, and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Daily chemical dilution checks.
Additional Responsibilities & KPI\’s:
- Environmental swabbing results.
- Site performance against KPI’s and food safety objectives.
- Completion of required cleaning schedules to satisfactory standard.
- Internal audits, customer and 3rd party audit reports.
- Product recalls and withdrawals.
