Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver with a passion for the open road and a love for the entertainment world? Were looking for a skilled and dedicated driver to join our team and support our exciting projects across the entertainment industry. About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, youll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transport of equipment, props, and stage setups for concerts, film productions, and live events. Youll work closely with production teams to make sure everything arrives on time, securely, and in top condition. Key Responsibilities Transport Equipment:Safely drive and operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport entertainment equipment, props, and materials to various locations across the UK (and potentially beyond). Loading and Unloading:Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo to protect valuable equipment. Keeping Track of Paperwork:Work with various customers to ensure each delivery is completed with the relevant paperwork, keep track of your fuel receipts and to complete a timesheet each week. Vehicle Checks:Perform routine checks and minor repairs on vehicles to ensure they are in peak condition for every trip. We also like our drivers to keep there vehicles clean and tidy so we are always looking our best! Adaptability:Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of our projects. What Were Looking For Class 1 (Category C+E) Licensewith a clean driving record. Experience driving large vehicles, especially in the entertainment or events industry, is highly desirable. Strong awareness of load safety and securement techniques. Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules. Great communication skills and a professional attitude. Flexibility for travel and occasional overnight stays. A can-do attitude helpful and polite at all times.
