CONSULTANT RESPIRATORY MEDICINE WITH SUB SPECIALTY INTEREST & CAREER DEVELOPMENT– MIDLANDS We have been appointed by an NHS University Hospital based in the Midlands to help them recruit to their substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term Consultant Respiratory Physician. Vacancy Information Our client is looking to grow their existing team of 24 Consultants providing general and specialist Respiratory services by 7 Consultant, already one of the largest respiratory departments in the country with a wide range internationally renowned specialist services. New Consultants will join a well-established team and will help the department to consolidate and expand the service, with focus on establishing the Trusts as a national centre of respiratory excellence. Our client will welcome interests in asthma, COPD, cycstic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, ILD, lung cancer, pleural, complex ventilation or sleep. Additional training and mentorship in these areas will be provided. Any area of interest will be considered and might include a clinical interest including new treatments; technologies such as digital medicine or artificial intelligence; safety and quality improvement; leadership and management; strategy, education, teaching and training. Our client delivers outstanding Respiratory care and internationally recognized within the regions Biomedical Research Centre which is in partnership with the local University.
