QUOC is dedicated to crafting high-performance cycling footwear that seamlessly blends comfort, style, and functionality. A fast-growing brand, we are on the hunt for a talented dynamic and talented footwear designer to join our Design and R&D Team. This role is ideal for passionate cyclist, with a strong background and existing experience in footwear design, in addition to strong creative flare, eye for detail and visual communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create designs for cycling footwear that align with market trends, sales feedback and in-the-field customer testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product development, marketing, and sales to ensure designs meet business objectives
- Develop and maintain line plans and technical packs for products
- Create sketches and prototypes of designs
- Work with manufacturers to ensure designs are created to specifications
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on market trends, materials, and production techniques
- Revise designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in fashion design, industrial design, or related field preferred
- Passion for cycling and outdoor sports
- Strong creative flare and ability to conceive original ideas
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Ability to turn designs around quickly and to carefully document changes.
- Excellent visual communication skills and proficient in design software.
- Team player with an appreciation for open communication and transparency. Respectful of the opinions of others.
