About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our restaurant. This position requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques and food safety standards. The Sous Chef will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food production while maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
