POSITION PURPOSE
To carry out golf course maintenance duties, as directed, ensuring that the courses are at all times presented in the best possible condition. Assist the gardens and grounds team when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Cutting of all playing surfaces, set up golf course, raking bunkers, etc. as directed to agreed departmental standards

Construction, aeration and turfing works / duties, as directed

Maintain high standards of customer care at all times to luxury standards

Understand Trump Turnberrys policies on Health and Safety and to ensure that all duties performed are carried out with full regard to the safety of customers, visitors, contractors and other employees; work within the Health & Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessment and HAVS Assessment guidelines at all times.

Ensure the efficient and effective operation and safe handling of all chemicals following Trump Turnberry policy and procedure. Ensuring relevant records are filled in a timely manner.

To operate grass cutting machinery safely and effectively; care and maintenance of machinery and the reporting of loss or damage to Workshop Manager according to Trump Turnberry policy and procedure.
Candidate Requirements
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
Must be in possession of relevant Greenkeeping Qualifications
Driving License is desirable.
Previous experience of Greenkeeping duties is essential
Previous experience of working in a 5-star, luxury environment is desirable.
KNOWLEDGE , EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

SVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping or equivalent or demonstrate a willingness to undertake at the first opportunity given.

Spraying Certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6 ( desirable )

Minimum of 3 years practical experience as a greenkeeper (desirable )
