The College is looking to appoint to an exciting new role ‘Assistant Principal-Academic Excellence’ to play a key part in shaping the academic success of our students. You will lead our academic staff to deliver an innovative and aspirational teaching and learning experience for our students. Reporting to the Deputy Principal-Curriculum and Quality and forming part of the wider College Senior Management team you will play a key strategic role in delivering academic excellence.
This is a newly created position within the College, developed to ensure an unwavering focus upon continuous improvement in pursuit of the high aspirations we have for our students. It will be a critical position in delivering the College’s success, and as a result, outstanding leadership and management skills are required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in curriculum leadership at a senior level and within the further education sector. They will have experience of developing and leading high-performing teams, driving curriculum innovation across a diverse provision and demonstrable experience in securing improvements to student outcomes. The ability to lead others through inspirational and aspirational leadership which commands respect and provides an environment where others feel motivated and valued will be key, as will proven experience of building and maintaining a culture focused on improvement and high performance.
