Role Purpose
Food is incredibly important at B&K and our Kitchen Managers are the leaders in our kitchen. You will live and breathe food, be passionate about detail and take pride in your work. You will be an expert at getting the best out of people, able to coach and develop your team to deliver flawless execution within a fun and supportive environment. You are friendly, approachable and understand that communication is key to all departments, especially your General Manager. We value your work/life balance, therefore all of our Kitchen Managers are contracted to work 40 hours per week.
As a Kitchen Manager in our Brewpubs, you’ll have the drive and determination to deliver an excellent service, every single day. Your main responsibilities include managing the food stock, ensuring safe working practices, you’ll also be managing the food safety regulations in your Brewpub kitchen by leading your team correctly. You’ll take a front foot in the preparation and cooking of our menu, ensuring it leaves the kitchen to perfect specification for our guests and will be given creative opportunities to develop dishes for our menu.
