About the Hotel
This beautiful new Crowne Plaza hotel in Reading, consists of 174 brand new bedrooms, 8 conference suites for up to 180 in the largest suite, Caprice Fine Dining 2AA Rosette Restaurant & Terrace, busy Lounge bar and substantial Esprit wellness and Spa
The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Winnersh Triangle station, and within very close proximity of Reading and Wokingham.
The Role of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a strong and dynamic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to be part of our management team.
You will be responsible for and have ownership for the busy conference & events centre, the 2AA rosette restaurant and the Montys Bar & Lounge
You will be responsible for ensuring that the blue chip corporate clients receive the highest levels of service in the conference centre .
The ideal candidate should be capable of bringing their own skills to a very busy hotel and should be able to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in training and developing the team and ensuring compliance to systems and standards and IHG requirements
Please note that thisposition is entirely hands-on
You will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and Group Managing Director
Ideal candidates should have strong experience in hotel food & beverage operations as well as conference & events operations experience, ideally in branded full service hotels and have strongadministrative, communication and training skills . You should be numerate.
Previous experience in Micros EPOS essential
You should have an outgoing personality and a strong attention to detail.
