We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the team atThe Living Space, Watergate Bay.
This role provides a unique opportunity within a successful and expanding organisation, which encourages professional development and offers excellent long-term career prospects.
The role:
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be managing a restaurant with a turnover of £4 million per year. You will bring plenty of industry experience and strong leadership skills to the role and your warm and professional personality will fit perfectly with our culture of relaxed professionalism. As well as delivering an unrivalled dining experience, you will work closely with our Executive and Head Chef to express our passion for food in a beachside location.

What your days could look like:
- Ensuring wonderful hospitalitythats first and foremost in our thoughts!
- To be hands on in your approach, being present on the floor and leading the team to deliver exceptional hospitality and service
- Building relationships with new and existing guests
- To plan and to ensure operational effectiveness when on duty and in your absence
- To work with our kitchen teams to exceed guest expectations on quality of food offering and execution
- Be a role model for our brand value of relaxed professionalism at all times .
- Leading the ongoing training, development and performance management of the team
- Promoting and leading a culture of continual professional development.
- To undertake regular performance reviews and coffee chats with your reports
- Working with the senior management team to develop and evolve the Living Space, taking an active role in identifying new trends and opportunities.
- Managing the financial performance of The Living Space & Breakfast Room. Ensuring all revenue, payroll and overheads budgets are met.
- Overseeing all ordering and deliveries to ensure good stock control and minimal wastage.
- Ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the companys health and safety policy and procedures.

Jobs skills:
- Management experience within a large or multiple restaurant setting.
- Can demonstrate a history of leading and passionately developing teams to deliver specific goals and targets.
- Capable trainer, able to develop and deliver training materials.
- Barista experience, wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge.
- Somebody who simply loves food and drink.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A good understanding of Food Health and Safety requirements
