A good understanding of child development and key skills in encouraging, yet challenging, children to achieve academically and socially within this setting is required. The ability to work collaboratively with the SEND and SLT team and other professionals in a busy, vibrant school is also essential. Good literacy and numeracy skills as well as effective ICT skills are necessary.
