Bar Manager Manchester Upmarket Restaurant

A Bar Manager is required for this upmarket, high volume and premium casual dining restaurant in the centre of Manchester.

Unfortunately, this role does not offer sponsorship, and we can only accept applications from candidates with the right to work in the UK.

The plush interior creates a luxurious ambience with moody lighting and comfy seating creating the perfect environment for guests; whether sitting down to a delicious meal or a beautifully prepared cocktail.

You must have at least 1 years Bar Manager experience in a cocktail led bar and/or restaurant, and without this experience, your application unfortunately can't be considered for this role.

The bar is also very busy and has a fantastic reputation on the Manchester high end bar scene.

They are popular with private functions and events and draw customers for both their eclectic food menus serving both traditional British and modern dishes inspired by global cuisines as well as for drinks, with attractive menus featuring an excellent array of wines as well as both classic and bespoke cocktails.

The restaurant serves a large number of covers; therefore, they are looking for somebody who is sharp with an eye for detail and somebody who has strong experience working in restaurants that cater for high seating capacity and somebody who has worked in high quality establishments.

They are looking for a Bar Manager with a background in a similar standard of restaurants to provide leadership and inspire the front of house team.

You will need to be calm under pressure, and have a passion for excellent customer service, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout.

As Bar Manager you will:

  • Manage the bar within this busy restaurant where you will be offering a first-class service
  • Have previous bar management experience
  • Possess a strong knowledge of cocktails
  • Be responsible for training, motivating and offering support to your team and ensuring each customer is offered the highest level of customer service
  • Be innovative, approachable and have the ability to quickly build a strong rapport with guests and customers
  • Be organised, hardworking and have an excellent appearance with a strong focus on guest requirements
