Meeting & Events Supervisor – Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Supervisor in the Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport.
With 365 bedrooms, 17 Meeting and Events rooms, our vibrant Aviator Bar and Grill Restaurant, this is a 24/7 property where you will never be bored!

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist with meeting rooms set-up and service when requested, ensuring all details are 100% accurate.
- Build a repport with potential clients to convert enquires into confirmed bookings.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Co-ordinate event bookings, ensuring effective verbal and written communication with clients at all times.
- Liase and communicate with internal staff as well as external suppliers as necessary to ensure efficient co-ordination of events.
- To offer the highest level of guest service in all Meeting & Events and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
- To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible with working hours.
- To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
- To ensure that the M&E areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
- To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups.

- Experience working with customers
