My client is looking for someone who is a true leader, someone who is motivational and is going to change the narrative of how a kitchen is usually run.

Then this is the role for you
SALARY: up to £48,000 DOE
CHRISTMAS DAY AND NEW YEARS DAY OFF EVERY YEAR.
What duties will I be doing in the Head Chef role?
* Food safety is a number 1 priority across the company. You must ensure your kitchen is always kept fully compliant to ensure we retain our 5-star food hygiene rating. Working closely with our leadership team & the local EHO, you will attend a monthly 'food safety' review to ensure we have industry leading standards to protect our teams and our guests.
* Ensuring your kitchen team are fully trained and confident to deliver consistent, quality, high standard food in line with our company specs.
* Leading from the front, building a strong and successful partnership with your Sous Chef to together create a positive and engaged kitchen team.
* Managing all areas of the kitchen, including stock counting & reporting, margin control and stock analysis.
* Managing staffing levels and creating rotas to maximise the efficiency of our kitchens.
* Growing your kitchen team and inspiring our next generation of chefs by having a pro-active approach to their development and career progression. Providing regular and honest feedback, conducting 1-1s and identifying any areas of improvement.
* Menu development- taking an interest in continuous improvement, presenting your and your team's ideas at our quarterly cook offs.
