Job Description

Are you a hospitality superstar with a strong background in hospitality management, perhaps with a love for the outdoors and developing young people? If so, wed love to hear from you!

Our vibrant, busy outdoor residential centre nestled on the side of Loch Eil, near Fort William, provides learning and adventure, and memorable experiences for young people. Were seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality department.

Youll enjoy being hands on and have current knowledge of all aspects of health and safety and allergen management, combined with great people leadership and management skills, effective budgetary control and an aptitude for ICT. Youll have a friendly, enthusiastic can do attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

In this role youll be at the heart of our guest services, overseeing all aspects of accommodation and catering to ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and leaves with lasting memories. If you love leading teams, and all things hospitality this is the job for you.

Who we are looking for

You'll need to have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality sector, in residential settings
  • Strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Experience of managing accommodation services to a high standard
  • Solid experience of managing budgets
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
