As the Executive Head Housekeeper, you will oversee the entire housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across the hotel and resort. You will manage and lead a talented team of housekeepers, create and maintain operational procedures, and work closely with other department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a key role within the hotel and resort, requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring optimal levels of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, protocols, and training programs to ensure standards are consistently met.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Oversee laundry operations, including the management of linen and uniform services.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and budgeting for the housekeeping department.
- Work closely with the hotels senior management team to coordinate housekeeping activities with other hotel departments.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the hotel and resort.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and housekeeping technologies to improve operational efficiency.
