International Sales Associate

JRI Orthopaedics is a British manufacturer of innovative and quality orthopaedic solutions for healthcare providers and patients worldwide. We have always been committed to working with the best people in the industry in order to deliver optimum solutions in joint reconstruction, repair and regeneration, putting the patient at the heart of everything that we do. Now, owing to an expanding global market, we are looking to appoint a dynamic, results oriented and commercially focused individual to help us develop and service JRI’s new global contracts.

Role

Reporting to our International Business Development Manager and working closely with our New Product Development, Marketing, Customer Services and Finance Departments as part of a cross-functional team, the International Sales Associate will be responsible for

· Developing and executing sales plans in line with the strategic international business plan

· Achieving sales target as per area of influence

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers

· Providing regular reports and updates on performance, market trends, and competitor activities

· Conducting research, identifying and reporting business opportunities

· Understanding and implementing client requirements such as training delivery

· Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of JRI products and systems

· Assisting the Regulatory Team to register products in the target Market.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• International Business / Marketing Studies degree / Masters

• Fluency in English plus Spanish and / or other European language

• Ability to achieve DBS & MIA clearance (company sponsored)

• Demonstrable experience in external international sales (opening markets/ servicing markets / expanding market share), preferably within health care / orthopaedics but will consider wider field

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with ease and communicate technical aspects to knowledgeable audiences

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Willingness to travel internationally, 50% of time

• Computer literate – with a good knowledge of all Microsoft applications

• Willingness to receive and maintain travel related vaccinations

Location

When not travelling, the International Sales Associate will be based at JRI’s Sheffield facility in South Yorkshire.
