Account Executive – Blockchain / Crypto

About Us:
Our client is seeking an Account Executive based in London to drive their EMEA institutional sales efforts. As the Account Executive, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customer needs and should be knowledgeable across technical, operational, and economic aspects of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and protocols. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales EMEA.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying experience as an Account Executive or equivalent, preferably within a tech/crypto/blockchain startup
- Deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem
- Experience in B2B SaaS/Infrastructure sales
- High energy and collaborative team-player mentality
- Ability to engage customers and understand their product and partnership needs
- Proactive and independent in sourcing, progressing, and closing new business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with prompt responsiveness to diverse customer needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to grow and adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire sales process: identify, qualify, and close sales pipeline with large institutional and enterprise accounts
- Align sales initiatives with company objectives
- Maintain an organized CRM to support accurate sales forecasting and consistency
- Provide product support for customers, both pre- and post-sales
- Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams to identify potential market opportunities
- Identify and implement solutions to reduce sales and support costs
- Drive customer satisfaction through KPI-driven sales performance
- Create monthly reports for key customers, including financials as requested
- Represent the company and educate potential customers at conferences, trade shows, and private events
